Deat Applicant, for one of our client - leading company designing AI automation solutions for business, we are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby on Rails).
You will play a key role in designing and implementing new features, optimizing existing systems, and ensuring the robustness and reliability of client's backend infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Ruby on Rails.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and foster best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges.
Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience in application development
- Experience with Ruby on Rails (6)
- Experience with an modern UI framework (Vue2, 3 or React)
- Strong SQL skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, PSQL, Oracle, MSSQL)
- Knowledge of continuous deployment and integration practices
- Experience in identifying and resolving potential performance bottlenecks
- Good understanding of modern API design practices and standards
- Proficient in writing automated tests
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
