International Sales Manager for maritime vessel brokerage (offshore projects)

For our client, a reputable brokerage for maritime vessels in Hamburg, Germany, we are currently looking for an International Sales Manager.

This is a great opportunity for any international wishing to relocate to Germany with previous experience in sales and the offshore / maritime industry.

No German skills needed! Visa sponsorship given.

Your Tasks

  • Generating and developing new business opportunities
  • Nurturing relationships with key external stakeholders and decision makers
  • Managing client relationships
  • Networking to develop market relationships, enhance brand awareness, and grow the business
  • Identifying opportunities to deliver value and contribute to client projects

Your Profile

  • Professional experience in the offshore / shipping industry
  • Track record of success in a sales or business development role
  • Ideally but not required you have worked in a brokerage before
  • Very good English skills (German not required!)
  • Open mindedness, willingness to learn, and high self-motivation
  • Willingness for international travel

Our client is a leading brokerage for maritime vessels that are used by clients for building offshore wind parks. They support chartering as well ship sales & purchases.

The company is a pioneer in the offshore renewable energy sector with strong brand recognition and looks back at almost 13 years of successful growth.

With an internal database of over 100,000 vessels, they provide solutions during each stage of an offshore renewable project from initial surveying and installation to operations and maintenance ( O&M’) and decommissioning or repowering.

Additionally, with its sale+purchase unit, GRS.group is covering brokerage services for offshore vessels, ferries, and cruise vessels including all services related to a transaction process such as valuation, market timing, documentation, support of negotiations, and conclusion of contracts.

Your Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation : 50-60.000€ gross salary / year as base compensation + attractive bonus scheme that compensates you for your closed deals
