Working Student - Data Science (m / f / d)

As a  Working student (m / f / d)  im  Smart Quality Lab  you actively shape the development of practical, AI-based solutions. In an interdisciplinary team, you independently apply techniques from the areas  computer vision and deep learning  to large amounts of quality data from different industries. You will work as an active member of our team on innovation projects and help with the creation, training and evaluation of  AI models  using classical and neural  Machine Learning  Techniques.

What you do with us

  • You support us in developing new innovative ideas, concepts, algorithms and solutions in the AI ​​context.
  • You independently apply the latest algorithms and techniques from the fields of computer vision, image processing or audio processing.
  • You further develop existing algorithms to improve the performance of the models.
  • You help with the preparation and annotation of data.
  • You conceptualize and implement prototypes using the latest technologies.
  • In addition to AI development, you will also take on regular software development tasks.
  • You support the preparation of scientific publications.

When you fit in with us

  • You are studying data science, computer science, physics or a related subject.
  • You have good programming skills in an object-oriented programming language, ideally Python or C#.
  • You have good practical knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch, Keras, Tensor Flow from previous experience, . from previous jobs, project work, etc.
  • Ideally, you already have some experience in scientific work.
  • You have a high degree of initiative, creative will and teamwork skills.
  • You have a strong understanding of the theoretical concepts of classical and neural machine learning methods.
  • You can draw on previous professional experience in the field of machine learning.
  • Practical knowledge of various database technologies and database systems is desired and highly valued.
  • You are enthusiastic about solving challenging problems using machine learning and would like to work with us to develop innovative and versatile practical applications.
