• Lead the end-to-end management of data centre construction projects, including site selection, feasibility studies, design coordination, procurement, construction oversight, and commissioning
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, while monitoring and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align project goals, technical specifications, and construction methodologies
• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential roadblocks
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, safety standards, and environmental requirements throughout the construction process
• Implement quality control processes to guarantee that construction work meets established standards and specifications
• Manage change orders and variations while assessing their impact on project timelines and budgets
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimizations within the construction management framework
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging innovation and creativity among project team members
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Proven experience as a Project Manager overseeing complex construction projects, preferably in the data center or critical infrastructure sector
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and industry best practices
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within datacenter environments
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive and collaborative approach
