Summary

We are looking for a “Head of Logistics Management (f / m / d)” at the Ulm site at the earliest possible date. The department is functionally responsible for the global logistics planning team and ensures the successful implementation of logistics planning processes including negotiations with logistics service providers for HENSOLDT.

Your Tasks

  • Technical and disciplinary management of employees
  • Development and implementation of logistics planning strategies to achieve business objectives (support of value stream processes, fulfillment of ESG targets)
  • Support the S / 4 HANA transformation program with a clear focus on a greenfield approach (functionally under the leadership of the CBTO (GPO))
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics planning processes and ensure continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics planning performance and drive improvements with the service provider
  • Analyzing logistics planning data to identify opportunities for improvement and savings
  • Building and maintaining relationships with logistics service providers and negotiating tenders and contracts
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards relating to logistics planning and transportation
  • Developing and managing budgets for global logistics planning
  • Regular reporting to senior management on logistics planning activities and performance

Your Profile

  • Degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management or similar
  • Experience in leading and motivating employees
  • Several years of management experience in global logistics planning and / or global supply chain management
  • Experience in the SAP S / 4 HANA environment
  • Knowledge of logistics planning software and tools, regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
  • A high level of communication and teamwork skills, strong presentation skills and conflict resolution skills
  • Structured, analytical and flexible way of working
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
