Utility Computing (UC) AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities

1. Lead cross-functional initiatives collaborating closely with teams across hardware software network engineering product management operations and more.

2. Partner with service owners to understand product roadmaps and drive new product introduction schedules.

3. Define deliverables roadmaps and documentation for ad-hoc projects and programs anticipating bottlenecks and balancing business needs with technical constraints.

4. Communicate technical details clearly to product managers and senior leadership earning trust and influencing teams without burning bridges.

5. Drive process and tooling improvements to increase visibility throughput and output quality across the organization.

• Experience in technical product or program management
• Experience in software development
• Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills. Ability to dive deep into complex technical topics and explain them with ease to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPIs / SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
• Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure complex systems systems engineering
• Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or equivalent
