Summary :
Safely and efficiently operate commercial trucks to transport goods between various locations according to schedules and delivery instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Prioritize safety of self other drivers pedestrians and cargo at all times.
Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections including checking fluid levels tires lights and brakes.Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.Practice defensive driving techniques to avoid accidents.Respond appropriately to emergencies (e.g. accidents breakdowns).Transportation :Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently.
Plan and execute routes efficiently considering traffic and delivery schedules.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption.Documentation :Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and on time (e.g. bills of lading delivery receipts).
Communicate any delays or issues to dispatch or supervisors promptly.Vehicle Maintenance :Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.Requirements
Should have 3 years of heavy vehicle driving license.Should have a valid driving license to work in Germany.No German language skills are needed in India.Good English communication skills are mandatory.Benefits
