RESPONSIBILITIES
In our Freight Cost Management unit, you coordinate and optimize specialist processes as an Expert :
- You are responsible for freight calculation and freight invoicing.
- As a competent technical expert, you advise the teams and managers on service and process queries.
- Additionally, you implement the topics of Networking & Digitalization in your unit and act accordingly.
- In cooperation with the BASF Hubs and other partners, you will create the structures and processes of the department and define measures efficiently and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- professional experience in transportation or logistics, and ideally first experiences in leading projects & processes
- strong purchase-to-pay process know-how and technical proficiency
- very good user skills in SAP TM
- strong communication und presentation skills in English, basic knowledge of German
- enjoy developing yourself and others, keeping the interests of the company and our service unit in mind and communicating these openly and clearly
