Senior Data Engineer Consultant - Germany, Remote

Masentó are partnered with an exciting Technology Consulting firm, who are in a truly exciting growth stage looking to scale their data solution expertise.

We are recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer, with a strong track-record of delivering end-to-end customer solutions, whilst working with the Azure Data Stack.

Role Responsibilities

• Designing and building robust, scalable data pipelines and integrations for client environments.
• Leading client engagements to assess existing data infrastructure and propose improvement strategies.
• Working cross-functionally with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize data availability and quality.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent, repeatable deployment of data platforms.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to best practice development within internal teams.

Key Skills

• Deep experience with the Microsoft Azure Tech Stack (including Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Blob Storage).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep, preferably in cloud environments.
• Strong consulting background with proven client-facing experience across multiple engagements.
• Solid programming skills (e.g., Python, Scala, or SQL) and familiarity with distributed data processing.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and cloud-native architecture principles.
