General Manager
One of the most exciting brands in ESS is looking to appoint a General Manager for Europe, working to spearhead expansion, solidify market presences and introduce good governance into the business.
You'll play a key role in shaping and executing the strategy for the European sales region. You'll be responsible for driving sales, managing operations and fostering relationships with key stakeholders across Europe.
A background in renewables (preferably ESS), particularly in working with utility-scale customers, will be crucial in achieving ambitious growth goals and aggressive sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive market leadership and revenue growth in Europe.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, establishing the company as the go-to provider for ESS solutions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with utility-scale customers and key industry stakeholders.
- Oversee P&L management and ensure the achievement of financial targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the renewables sector, with a strong understanding of the European market.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and managing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in selling to utility-scale customers, with a track record of securing major contracts.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
This can be an on-site, hybrid or remote position based with travel to the headquarters in Munich and to meet customers across Europe.
