Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing Oncology

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Manager in the innovative field of Oncology for a leading, global pharmaceutical company.

My client is a market leader, with a significant number of first-in-class and medical breakthrough pipeline projects.

This role offers an incredible opportunity for those with strategic vision, oncology expertise, analytical skills, and leadership abilities.

It involves driving therapy development and commercialisation while collaborating with teams and engaging stakeholders effectively.

You will play a pivotal role in leading the commercial product strategy and implementation for the discovery and early pipeline portfolio.

From shaping strategic definitions to ensuring alignment with customer needs, the successful candidate will be instrumental in guiding products through their entire lifecycle.

Responsibilities :

• Lead strategic marketing initiatives from asset development to launch, prioritising patient-centric approaches and a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape
• Assume the pivotal role of Marketing lead for specific assets / indications, shaping commercial strategies and facilitating decision-making processes
• Drive project teams to achieve Therapeutic Area objectives through innovation and strategic thinking
• Develop assets with a focus on patient-centricity and market understanding, managing commercial portfolios within designated disease areas
• Gather market insights to inform decision-making, collaborating with various functions to craft winning asset strategies
• Provide guidance on operational metrics and marketing optimisation to support successful outcomes

Job Requirements :

• Master's degree in Science or related field; MBA considered advantageous
• Extensive pharmaceutical marketing experience, including successful Oncology product launches
• Ability to interface effectively with senior management, coupled with a strong understanding of medical practices and regulatory processes
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration, with willingness to travel internationally as required
