We're looking for a Data Consultant coming from either an engineering, analyst or science background to come and act as the internal Data aficionado for a B2C travel brand based in Germany.
After a significant investment in their Martech capabilities, this business are scaling and looking for experts to help enable and support the internal departments reliant on critical customer data & insights.
You'll be working extremely closely with their Product, Marketing & Analytics units to help manage and leverage their Customer Data Platform. You'll act as a guide and sparring partner internally and highlight opportunities and risks to leadership and the wider businesses.
Your role :
- Collaborate with the Growth Team to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows that integrate data from diverse sources into the CDP
- Monitor, enhance, and ensure the data quality, performance, and reliability of the CDP
- Provide support for data analysis and reporting requirements across marketing, analytics, and product teams
- Explore and evaluate new data sources, technologies, and methodologies to improve the capabilities and value of the CDP
- Contribute to the planning, scoping, and prioritization of technical requirements while supporting customers in their digital transformation efforts
- Manage bulk data imports, database and table configurations, job scheduling, connectors, user access, and access control policies
- Serve as the subject matter expert on all aspects of the CDP
Your profile :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or data science within the B2C spaceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline such as Mathematics or StatisticsDeep understanding of data quality, governance, and security principles and best practicesExceptional skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solvingA real passion for data and creating customer-focused solutionsProficient in SQL and Python, with familiarity in additional programming languages like Java, Scala, or RHands-on experience with Treasure Data or a comparable cloud-based customer data platformSkilled in data integration, transformation, and validation tools, including Airflow, Spark, Kafka, or TalendProficient in using data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or LookerTravel or eCommerce background is extremely helpful, but not mandatoryWhy join?
