Key Responsibilities :
- Architecture & Design : Develop, design, and implement OT security architecture that aligns with industry standards and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST).
- Security Frameworks : Integrate OT security frameworks with IT security frameworks, ensuring compatibility and robust protection across the entire technology landscape.
- Risk Management : Assess and mitigate security risks within OT environments by conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and gap analysis.
- Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, operations, and IT teams to ensure security best practices are implemented across all OT projects.
- Policy Development : Create and implement policies and procedures that comply with national and international standards, ensuring that all OT systems adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Incident Response : Support incident response and threat analysis within the OT environment, coordinating with cybersecurity teams to quickly and effectively address any issues.
- Continuous Improvement : Keep up to date with emerging trends in OT security, recommending and implementing improvements in line with technological advancements.
Key Requirements :
- Educational Background : Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience : Minimum 5 years in OT security or architecture roles within energy, utilities, or a similar industrial environment.
- Technical Skills : Familiarity with OT / ICS systems such as SCADA, DCS, PLC, and hands-on experience with security tools tailored for OT environments.
- Compliance Knowledge : Strong understanding of OT security frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443) and standards, as well as general IT security standards.
- Analytical Skills : Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, creating security documentation, and performing threat analyses.
- Languages : Fluency in both German and English is highly preferred.
