Job Description
- Conduct stress assessment analyses of aircraft fuselage structures (ATA52 & ATA53) for the Airbus A320, including static analyses, hand calculations, and FEM calculations
- Prepare and review stress analyses for verification and certification, e.g., stress dossiers
- Validate design solutions and changes according to established methods and standards
- Stress review of design data in relevant PDM systems (e.g., PASS, VPM)
- Support in the optimization of processes and procedures within the project team
Requirements Profile
Completed degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable fieldProfound experience in the analysis of aircraft fuselage structures (static, R&D advantageous) for Airbus work packagesExperience with an Airbus Signature Delegation advantageousVery good knowledge of ISAMI, NASTRAN / PATRAN, and Hyper works.Good knowledge of analytical calculation methods (e.g., Bruhn, HSB, Niu)Understanding of the general aeronautical regulations for Part 21Good programming skills (preferably Python, alternatively VBA)Very good English skills, including technical terminologyStructured working style, strong teamwork skills, and a high level of responsibility
