We are looking for experts who would like to join a newly formed, growing Organizational Development team that is part of the global People & Organizational Development function in Corporate HR. We advise and support ZEISS building critical organizational capabilities to achieve its ambitious targets.
In this role you will be our expert in the team for Skill Management , developing and implementing a skills strategy together with the ZEISS divisions.
Your role
Independently drive a standardized and integrated approach to building ZEISS critical organizational capabilities by providing aligned methodologies and tools and advising on their application
Identify skill gaps at Group level by comprehensively analyzing current skills and knowledge of employees in the various business units and locations and define specific skill building activities
Work with the Group Works Council to negotiate Skill Management and ensure that employees' interests are adequately taken into account
Support the specialist departments in the creation and implementation of training programs on skill management and target group-specific communication
Support configuration and implementation of Workday Skill Management functionalities and ensure continuous maintenance
Align closely with other relevant HR colleagues as well as Learning Experts
Contribute to the growth of a newly created function by building an integrated Organizational Development portfolio for ZEISS as well as an internal and external ecosystem
Coach and mentor team members regarding skill development and management
Promote a Community of Practice including enabling the use of tools and methodologies and coaching colleagues involved in transformation initiatives across ZEISS, ensure that best practices are identified and implemented
Your profile
Master's degree and relevant professional qualifications / accreditations (e.g., in behavioral sciences, (industrial) psychology, leadership development, human resources, or similar).
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on Organizational Development, ideally with international experience
Consulting background preferred
Proven experience in creating and implementing business-oriented, global concepts, incl. Skill Management
Negotiation skills and experience in working with works councils or other employee representatives
Team-orientation and the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
Ability to quickly develop business understanding and strong partnerships to drive Organizational Development activities, strong business acumen
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems
Excellent communication skills combined with ‘can-do’ – mentality. Driven by high focus on results, assertiveness and pragmatism
Experience with Workday Talent & Performance is preferred
Business fluency in written and spoken English
