(Junior) Finance Manager
Job Description
TIS is a leading software-as-a-service business, and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a (Junior) Finance Manager.
In this role, you will manage our financial operations in close collaboration with our Finance Director. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including financial control, planning, and reporting across all subsidiaries.
You will play a key role in optimizing our processes as TIS enters new growth phases, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance.
- Financial Analysis : Drive our month-end reporting, consolidation forecasting, and variance analysis processes to generate actionable insights.
- Reporting & Insights : Assist in drafting external and internal financial reports to support decision-making. Act as the central source of truth, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Project Management : Manage key projects such as external financial audits or tooling improvements.
- Digitization & Process Improvement : Continuously improve our tools and processes to ensure TIS scales effectively.
- Risk & Compliance : Maintain compliance with financial laws and regulations, proactively implementing improvements as necessary.
- Coaching : Mentor and guide the junior team members (2), supporting their career development and growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial management, ideally within startups, venture capital, banking, or consulting environments.
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience in the technology and software sector is a plus. Preferably a minimum of 3-5 of work experience, or more.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, detail-oriented, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Netsuite is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
