Performs administrative tasks to support CEOcommunication activities.
PossibleTasks within this role
Assists in thedevelopment and release of executive correspondence. Coordinatesexecutive correspondence and enforces policy and proceduresgoverning preparation, submission, and control of correspondence tothe CEO for information, signature, orapproval.
Execution
Ensuresthat adequate internal controls such as proper standard operatingprocedures and administrative instructions are in place andenforced in order that the flow of information and correspondenceto and from the CEO is timely andaccurate.
Businessadvice
Provides business divisionswith administrative guidance, protocols, and specializedrequirements in preparing correspondence and actions for submissionto the CEO. Reviews information presented so that it is complete,accurate, and up-to-date and that documents are suitable in termsof coverage, balance, method of expression, and presentation andadheres to document objectives. Oversees the revision process andcoordinates changes with businessdivisions.
Contentcreation
Supports the writing andediting process for communications for the CEO, includingmessaging, emails, blog posts, scripts, speeches, remarks,storytelling and thought leadership assets, and internal andexternal presentations.
Contentreview
Edits written materials toensure coherence, style, accuracy, grammatical correctness, andadherence to brand and editorial guidelines. This duty includescontent editing, copyediting, proofreading, andfact-checking.
Events
Supportson internal executive events, partnering with colleagues fromvarious communication business units as may be needed. Prepares andproofreads key messages, backgrounders, and briefings for the CEO.Prepares and reviews presentations and supports the rehearsalprocess (e.g. for CEO speeches).
Socialmedia
Works with colleagues fromsocial media communications to prepare and publish content viasocial media channels. Coordinates activities, proofreads, andreviews content that is to bepublished.
Administration
Catalogscommunication requests and creates communication material.Documents and archives relevant material in appropriate systems.Handles email support for all CEO communicationactivities.
