Job Title : Valuation Consultant / Senior Consultant (m / w / d) – Business Valuation – Fluent German required with a dynamically growing Consulting firm

Location : Munich, Germany

Are you an ambitious valuation professional looking to take your career to the next level? Our client is seeking a motivated Valuation Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our growing Financial Advisory team in Munich. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex valuation projects, including business valuation, impairment testing, and purchase price allocation (PPA) for a diverse range of clients. Your Responsibilities :

  • Conduct business valuations for M&A, financial reporting, tax, and strategic decision-making purposes.
  • Perform impairment testing in compliance with IFRS and HGB standards.
  • Support purchase price allocations (PPA) and fair value measurement of assets and liabilities.
  • Prepare detailed financial models and valuation reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant frameworks.
  • Assist in presenting valuation findings to clients, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including audit, tax, and transaction advisory experts.
  • Stay up to date with valuation methodologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Your Profile :

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in valuation, financial advisory, or corporate finance .
  • Strong knowledge of business valuation methodologies (DCF, market multiples, NAV, etc.).
  • Experience with impairment testing (IAS 36) and purchase price allocation (IFRS 3) .
  • Proficiency in Excel-based financial modelling and valuation tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients.
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field ; CFA, ACCA, or CPA qualifications are a plus.
