Venturing is an integral part of our company strategy to accelerate technologies and business models for the energy transition.
As part of the Venture Clienting team, you will build relationships with global startups and lead the Venture Associate Program, which develops innovative leaders and pilots new solutions.
You will mentor the program participants and align the strategic direction with Siemens Energy's goals. By developing a deep understanding of specific growth fields and leveraging your network, you will support central initiatives to integrate venturing into the business and regions. How You’ll Make an Impact
Manage the company-wide Venture Associate Program, including marketing, event management, stakeholder management, and participant engagement and coaching.
Continuously improve the program to maximize participant experience and company impact
- Onboard and train participants in the Venture Client model through digital bootcamps, best practices, and mentorship. Manage and develop the online training platform for Venturing within Siemens Energy
- Develop and operate an effective positioning strategy and stakeholder management approach, engaging senior leaders and potential participants.
Develop a strong Venture Client Program for Siemens Energy, effectively positioning the overall value proposition and brand
Collaborate with functions such as R&D, Strategy, HR, Procurement, and Legal to enable effective design and delivery of the program.
Leverage your network and business knowledge to define focus areas and stakeholder engagement strategies
- Maintain a strong network in the respective region / business and potentially in the startup ecosystem. Set up campaigns, workshops, and regular touchpoints to engage with business units and decision-makers, fostering an open environment
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders in business units and external partners relevant to focus fields, including strategy and PRM heads, FoA heads, ICS, startups and more
- Actively drive the scale-up strategy towards 100 pilots with 100 million returns per year by contributing specific proposals and insights.
Support strategic projects, reporting, portfolio reviews, and ad hoc board presentations as required. Contribute to the Venture Clienting strategy and implementation
What You Bring
- Several years of experience in Siemens Energy or a similar firm, with a deep understanding of business strategies and priorities
- Work experience in innovation and program management and track record in designing and implementing programs successfully
- Proven track record in designing and implementing innovation and program management initiatives successfully
- Excellent skills in coaching team members and building relationships with key partners, including startups, internal stakeholders, customers, and ecosystem partners
- Strong enthusiasm for new technologies and change management, with a focus on solving knowledge gaps through external partners like startups and advocating for change
- Informed about the Venture Client Process and its value proposition, with a deep understanding of internal processes, decision-making, procurement, product management, and influencing technology adoption
- Full written and spoken proficiency in English is vital
