About the role

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainability at Redcare Pharmacy. As the Director of Sustainable Development (m / f / d) , you will lead a team of dedicated professionals while driving strategic initiatives that impact our entire organization. Your role goes beyond operational management — you’ll have a platform to influence senior leadership, steer cross-departmental projects, and develop processes that position Redcare Pharmacy as a sustainability leader in the e-pharmacy sector.

About your tasks

Shape our sustainability strategy : Lead the development of our overarching sustainability strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and upcoming regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD).
Lead the materiality analysis : Oversee and enhance our double materiality assessment by integrating stakeholder perspectives and driving data-driven risk evaluations.
Steer compliance and reporting : Take ownership of sustainability disclosures in our annual report and coordinate audit processes with internal and external stakeholders.
Drive governance and performance tracking : Develop and present dashboards that provide insights on progress toward sustainability goals, linking them to key business metrics.
Inspire change and innovation : Foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving new processes, supporting change initiatives, and identifying opportunities for sustainable development.

About you

Proven experience in sustainability leadership : You have successfully managed teams, projects, and cross-departmental initiatives in sustainability, ideally within corporate or consulting environments.

Strategic thinker with compliance know-how : You have a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks like CSRD and a proactive approach to aligning them with business goals.

Data-driven and outcome-oriented : You excel at transforming complex data into clear, impactful insights that inform decision-making at all levels of an organization.

Inspiring leader and changemaker : Your leadership style empowers others, and you are passionate about driving meaningful change in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You speak fluent English, German knowledge skills are a plus.
