Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales manager (leader) who can manage, inspire, develop and grow a team of sales personnel in the DACH Region. We are looking for a hands-on sales professional with the ability to manage 2 key accounts in Germany, whilst implementing and driving sales strategies across the personal care and home care / industrial cleaning markets.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for recruiting, managing, developing, mentoring and inspiring a sales team in the DACH region (5)
  • Full budgetary responsibility for the sales of specialty chemicals & ingredients into the personal care, home care and industrial cleaning markets.
  • Develop, grow and manage 2 key accounts in Germany within the personal care, home care and industrial cleaning markets
  • Identify and acquire new customers by identifying and showcasing the personal care, home care and industrial cleaning markets product portfolio
  • Implementation and delivery of the market strategy, in line with annual budget and product forecasts
  • Market and competition monitoring, identification of new business opportunities
  • Expanding and developing new supply agreements and strengthening the product portfolio
  • Regular customer visits and calls, both directly and together with other sales colleagues
  • Report maintenance and documentation in the CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Represent the company at tradeshows and exhibitions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, pharmaceutical science, cosmetic science or related subject
  • 5+ years' of sales leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
  • Experience within the sales of speciality chemicals and ingredients with applications within the personal care, home care and industrial cleaning markets
  • Experience in leading teams through matrix management or hardline management
  • Experience working within chemical manufacturing or chemical distribution is essential
