As a People Operations Specialist you will be at the center of a collaborative and dynamic team dedicated to creating a seamless employee experience. Reporting directly to the Head of Central Functions youll play a vital role in managing the employee lifecycle and ensuring that our HR processes run smoothly and comply with relevant labor laws. Tasks

  • Oversee all stages of the employee journey including recruitment support personnel requests development retention and offboarding ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all employees at JOIN
  • Maintain and optimise our HRIS (Personio) workflows ensuring that all employee data is always accurate uptodate and managed in the most optimal way
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies benefits and procedures providing timely and accurate information to foster a supportive work environment.
  • Compile and analyse HR metrics such as attrition rates vacation usage and employee demographics to support strategic decisionmaking. Prepare regular reports for management to provide insights into workforce trends
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing HR processes contributing to the development and implementation of more efficient workflows and practices.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures ensuring alignment with German labor laws and company objectives. Regularly review and update policies to maintain legal compliance and reflect best practices.

Requirements

  • You are fluent in German (mandatory) and English with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • You bring 2 to 3 years of experience in a People operations role ideally within a fastpaced or startup environment.
  • You have handson experience with HRIS platforms and a strong understanding of maintaining accurate employee records.
  • You are wellversed in German labor laws and compliance standards ensuring that processes and policies align with legal requirements.
  • You are highly detailoriented with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage prioritise effectively.
  • You have a proactive mindset and thrive in a dynamic everchanging work environment.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and have a passion for creating seamless HR processes and a great employee experience.
