Job Overview
Within TE Connectivity's business unit Commercial Vehicles (Industrial & Commercial Transportati on) we have a vacancy for a Key Account Manager (m / f / d) in Southern Germany.
The focus is on Tier 1 customers / CAMs ( Component & Aggregate Manufacturers) in the region of Bavaria and Austria and partly also Baden-Württemberg.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for the sales of TE products, technical and commercial customer support as well as the development and maintenance of existing customer relationships.
This position reports to the Manager Sales, ICT CAM EMEA.
This is a remote position, which can be performed from the home office (home office in DE, zip code 6, 7, 8, 9 or AT)
- Central contact person for the assigned customer base as well as development and maintenance of existing customer relationships
- Preparation and presentation of offers with the aim of generating profitable sales growth
- Technical product consulting on TE products for the commercial vehicle industry
- Identifying development opportunities, as well as establishing and developing new sales projects
- Responsible for conducting contract and price negotiations
- Definition of customer-specific activities in line with the sales strategy
- Monthly reporting (sales, forecast and new projects)
- Cross-functional cooperation with the specialist departments, including Application Engineering (FAE), Product Management (PM), Internal Sales (CS) and Development (ENG)
- Coordination with other business units on commercial vehicle applications
What your background should look like :
- Several years of professional experience in sales or a comparable function in an industrial environment (e.g. product or project management)
- Knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry or electrical components is an advantage
- Enthusiasm and passion for technical sales and working with our customers
- Ability to recognize and develop new customers and potentials
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Initiative and team player
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office Package
- Willingness to travel incl. valid driving license
- Business fluent in German and English
