Business Development Manager
A leading company in the green energy industry is seeking a Business Development Manager for their Energy Storage Systems Residential battery business, to be based in Frankfurt region, Germany.

They are a global player in the field of batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems and have a strong focus on developing new products and sourcing global battery manufacturing capabilities.

Primary job responsibilities :
- Develop regional business strategy to win new partners, manage sales pipelines and advance business with new customers
- Initiate first contact with new customers and drive commercial activities, including pricing and contract negotiations
- Submission of monthly / quarterly sales reports in consultation with customer
- Work with internal departments on a daily business to drive revenue generation
- Evaluation of sales forecasts based on market demand and competitor dynamics
- Establish relationships with key decision makers and align the European team with the appropriate level of contact at the customer side
Professional and personal competences :
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a technical sales role preferably for residential ESS batteries, inverter company or similar industries
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, or equivalent (Economics, Chemical, Electrical Engineering preferred)
- Experience with Sales and Marketing of energy storage system is highly desirable
- Proven track record in execution of successful development strategies and achieving sales in Solar PV field
- Professional, highly motivated individual with a strong results-oriented work ethic
- Excellent communication skills : verbal, written, and presentation
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP and other accounting software
- Fluent English skills and at least one other European language (German is a plus)
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory within Germany (50%)
