Junior Design Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Create CAD models and drawings based on customer specific requirements and internal standards
• Perform specific research components of a larger project
• Theoretical technical evaluation of designs, functions and performance, such as tolerance studies, risk-evaluation, mechanical strength, compatibility and interference to adjacent components
• Define requirements for components
• Practical technical evaluation of designs, functions and performance, such as strength tests, geometrical measurements, functional and corrosion resistance tests
• Work with various core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA)
• Execute and maintain development milestones

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Good level of communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Good command of the English language, German is a plus
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good computer skills, specifically MS Office and CAD-software, SAP is a plus
