As Legal Counsel - Financing and Private Banking, you will be responsible for :
Financing Activities :
- Provide legal advice on financing matters, including credit agreements, guarantees, and cross-border transactions.
- Assess and mitigate legal risks while safeguarding the interests of the bank and its clients.
- Support the development of international financing activities.
Contract and Documentation Review :
Draft and review financing contracts, agreements, and guarantees.Maintain and update legal templates and forms, ensuring regulatory compliance.Team and Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Contribute to team cohesion and uphold a culture of respect and support.Participate in transversal legal projects and facilitate training for colleagues on banking and financial law.Regulatory and Advisory :
Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments to anticipate impacts on financing and private banking activities.Provide expert input for strategic initiatives and compliance measures.Private Banking Focus :
Offer specialized expertise in private banking transactions and structures, leveraging prior experience in private banks or law firms servicing such clients.Profile
The ideal candidate Legal Counsel - Financing and Private Banking that we are looking for has the following profile :
Experience : At least 5 years in banking law, financial law, or private banking, ideally within a private bank or a law firm advising on private banking.Skills : Strong expertise in legal risk management, contract negotiation, and Luxembourg regulatory frameworks.Languages : Fluency in French and advanced English, with a willingness to improve if needed.Attributes :Team-oriented and committed to fostering a positive team spirit.
