Your Tasks
- Responsible for operating, maintaining, securing and evolving the software deployment and operational IT-infrastructure
- Specify, configure and roll out IT-infrastructure for the internal development system and end-user systems in the squadrons of customers in central Europe
- Support a strict configuration management process to define and identify baselines of the IT-systems
- Assure compliance of the systems with IT-security guidelines like BSI IT-Grundschutz by applying according updates, patches and configuration
- Continuously update the development systems along the evolution of our Mission Planning Systems
- Define processes for reliable and reproducible roll out new baselines into operation
- Part of a highly engaged development team to evolve maintainability and operability of the IT-Systems and the tool-chain supporting this
Your Profile
- M.Sc. / Eng. or PhD in Computer Science or a related field required
- 5 years work experience in securely and reliably operating IT systems is necessary
- Good experience in collaborating with software development teams and integrating with their development and configuration processes is mandatory
- IT Knowledge in Jira, Git, Bitbucket or Nexus is required
- Several years of experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code in a Windows environment (e.g., using PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, Baramundi, Ansible) are mandatory
- Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
