Head of Corporate Finance

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, high-performing Head of Corporate Finance to join our team in Berlin or Amsterdam. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with the founders to grow and scale an award-winning, truly global FinTech with operations spanning Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, India, and the Middle East.

The Role

As Head of Corporate Finance, you will be the engine room of our capital strategy. Your primary mission is to ensure we always have sufficient funds available to provide liquidity to our global customers. You will act as the right hand to the CEO and the CFO, navigating complex equity and debt capital markets to power the next generation of global trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Capital Raising & Debt Structuring: Arrange capital-efficient and flexible asset-backed debt facilities from banks, asset managers, private debt funds, alternative lenders, and mezzanine providers.
• Facility Management: Manage and optimize existing debt facilities in close cooperation with the Treasury & Legal team.
• Equity Transactions: Support the CEO and the CFO in primary and secondary equity raises, managing both internal and external stakeholders.
• Transaction Excellence: Lead due diligence requirements and prepare presentations, complex financial models, virtual data rooms and Q&A processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Help manage the internal and external stakeholders such as the supervisory board, management board, investors, and financiers.
• Strategic Growth: Solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment, helping to conquer the world of global commerce.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance and/or structured finance. You have a proven track record in an investment bank, corporate bank, asset management, corporate or top-tier consulting firm.
• Technical Prowess: Advanced skills in data analysis, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Powerpoint/Google Slides and a proficiency in leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency.
• Communication: Fluent in English (both spoken and written) with the ability to act as a strong communicator between internal and external stakeholders.
• Mindset: Proactive, accurate, and highly organized with a relentless eye for detail. You are an entrepreneurial "win any battle" type who thrives in a dynamic environment.
