Quantitative Power Trading Analyst

I am partnering with a major Energy Trading client who is looking for a Quantitative Power Trading Analyst who comes from an Data heavy background to Join their Forward Trading Desk

You will apply advanced mathematical models and statistical techniques to support the trading of physical and derivative power. Working closely with traders, you will help develop strategies, optimize pricing models, and manage risks in the power markets.

Requirements

• 2-5 years in quantitative analysis within EU power markets
• Proficiency in Python, R, or C++; strong understanding of power markets and quantitative modeling (time series, Monte Carlo, machine learning).
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Finance, etc.).
