We are searching for a highly technical driven and talented Senior Software Developer to join our Engine Core team. Collaborating with your team and important stakeholders and working from a prioritized backlog you will lead projects to design build and support valuable enhancements and new functionality. You will also participate in improving quality security and performance of our tech stack and tackling important technical debt.

This role reports to the SVP of R&D and works under the guidance of the local technical leader. This is an inoffice position based at our Munich Germany location.

Your role at Aparavi

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design estimate implement iterate and deliver backend server features to support our vertical market product strategy.
  • Collaborate withyour teamto write maintainable / testable codeand address critical technical debt.
  • Identifythe root cause ofcomplex issues and implement bug fixes.
  • Activelymaintaina high technical bar and work to improve team processes.
  • Mentor other engineers through code reviews and technical design reviews.
  • Rapidly buildexpertisein our tech stack and a thorough understanding of our products and solutions.
  • Work with a flexible and aggressive Agile development process that produces weekly releases.
  • Participate in oncall rotation.

What we are looking for

  • 3 years experience andproficiencywithJavaNode.jsJavascriptand React.
  • Open and motivated to learn and work with new tech stacks.
  • Experienced and comfortable with multitasking context switching and handling competing priorities
  • Model excellent engineering best practicesprocessesand communication.
  • Possesses a growth mindset; receives positive and constructive feedback well.

    • What we expect from you

  • Bachelors in computer scienceor related field;Mastersincomputersciencepreferred.
  • 5 yearsproficiencywith C withworking knowledge ofC20 andobjectoriented programming.
  • 3 years experience andproficiencyinPython.
  • Developerlevel understanding of relational databases.
