Aufgaben

We are looking for an Expert Public Funding R&D / Investment green hydrogen to lead our work on funding opportunities. You serve as an internal consultant for our business and management team and ensure that our global green hydrogen and R&D activities are adequately supported with public funding.

In close cooperation with the global public affairs team and other internal stakeholders, you identify and prioritize relevant funding opportunities, mainly on the German and the EU levels.

You advise our business and management teams on how to best leverage public funding opportunities.

You help our teams coordinate public funding application processes by serving as a consultant and contact person for successful application management.

You take the responsibility for all aspects of the funding proposal preparation to ensure the submission of our applications within the funding calls deadline. That includes all aspects of the preparation process, such as, for example, brainstorming, alignments, internal approval processes, structuring, and writing.

You cooperate with public stakeholders in our markets and represent thyssenkrupp nucera in funding related meetings.

Profil

You have proven experience with public funding proposals

You understand how the public funding process work in the EU as well as in Germany, which stakeholders matter and how to successfully engage with them; experience in additional member states is a plus.

You have a deep understanding of the hydrogen sector and its regulatory and stakeholder landscape, coupled with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

You have completed your studies in engineering, natural science, or other related topics

You have a proven track record of cooperating cross-functionally, relying on your strong ability to translate between technical experts, business leaders and policy makers.

You have a resilient network in politics, regulatory authorities, industry (EU / DE / others), and academia

You are fluent in English and German; further language skills are a plus.
