Your Role as Paralegal within the Team

You are a Paralegal who enjoys a variety of different topics, is enthusiastic to use digital contracting tools and to improve processes. The position gives you the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, to work in a paper-free legal department, to train on the job and to grow within a team of highly skilled colleagues.

The legal team is multidisciplinary and comprises specialists with great experience in different fields of law and from different backgrounds. You will:

• Broad range of tasks supporting GetYourGuide's legal team members in Berlin, New York and Zurich, including contract automation and administration using legal tech tools, maintenance and updating of corporate and commercial files, general correspondence and filing.
• Review of standard contracts including NDAs and others, implement and update templates.
• Manage IP-related third-party complaints including alignment with tech and content teams and own the process.
• Maintain data privacy (GDPR) documentation and processes (including DPA, ROPA)
• Manage centralized contract signature and archiving process using e-signature tools.
• Support the creation of a contract lifecycle management (CLM)

Who you are

• You are based in Berlin or are willing to relocate. We operate on a hybrid work model and value in person team collaboration at our office a minimum of 3 days per week.
• You have a legal background with very good credentials (Paralegal degree or equivalent) or a non-legal degree combined with relevant work experience in an in-house legal team or similar.
• You have 3+ years of work experience, ideally with a track record in contract automation, document or filing management (ideally partly gained working abroad or in an English speaking company).
• You take interest in commercial and contract law and wish to train in reviewing of standard contracts.
• You are an enthusiastic user of legal tech tools and confident using G Suite, MS Office, DocuSign, Jira etc.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership and feel at home in a fast-paced and international tech company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
