You want to shape processes, take ownership, and inspire a team? Then join us as Event Manager (m/f/d) – Two brands, endless possibilities!
Your key responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of event planning following contract finalization by the Sales Team
- Guide and support clients throughout the entire event lifecycle – from initial coordination to on-site execution
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients and collaborate closely with Conventions Sales Coordinators and Executives
- Prepare and manage detailed event documentation, including schedules, functions sheets, and invoice reviews
- Work in Partnership with Revenue Management to ensure optimal utilization of room and meeting space capacities
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental and organizational goals within the Convention Planning Team
- Identify upselling opportunities and develop value-added enhancements
- Manage forecasts, billing, and Opera data,
- Support and guide the events team through coaching, feedback, and best practices
- Analyze guest feedback and implement continuous improvement measures
- Lead and participate in pre- and post-conference briefings and internal meetings as well as site inspections
- Design and implement training programs, assist with onboarding and actively support the professional development of team members
Be able.
- You have 1–2 years of experience in event management, ideally in hospitality
- You’re highly organized, communicative, and take ownership of your projects
- You thrive in dynamic environments and manage multiple events with ease
- You’re passionate about creating exceptional events and growing with your team
- You’re proficient in English, German is an advantage
- Confident using Opera and MS Office
- You stay calm and solution-oriented even in high-pressure situations
