Your tasks :
Research collaboration in BMBF-funded project "Track-Opt"Self-motivated research in the field of of AI-supported computational microscopy with the aim of further scientific qualification (preparation for a doctorate)Processing of the research project and publication of research results in relevant international journalsRequired Skills1. System modeling and optimization using mathematical methods and physical models, 2. Machine Learning, possibly GPU acceleration and cluster computation, 3. Optics, especially microscopy, calibration and characterization of the experimental system, data generation on 3D cell models
Editing and collaboration on publications and results reportsSupporting the chair in organisational activitiesYour profile :
Very good Master's or equivalent degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineeringExcellent knowledge in one of the areas :1. Mathematical modeling and optimization, 2. Machine Learning, 3. Optics, especially microscopy, calibration, characterization of the experimental system and data processing
and at least basic knowledge in the other areas
Independent research interest and professional competence in the field of computational imagingAbility to work independently as well as part of a team, very good communication skillsExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishExperience in designing and setting up experiments is considered a plusOur range of services :
