The group of Relativistic Theoretical Astrophysics in Frankfurt invites applications for an anticipated DFG-granted postdoctoral position in Relativistic Theoretical Astrophysics within the Collaborative Research Collaboration on Strong Interaction Matter (CRC-TR 211).
Candidates should have a PhD in astrophysics, physics or applied mathematics. The ideal candidate will have experience with phase transitions in strongly coupled matter, particularly in the context of neutron stars and/or the early universe. Background or interest in numerical simulations is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
