Summary :
Our client, an innovative medical technology company with a mission focused on patient well-being, seeks exceptional talent as "Supplier Development Engineer" to join its dynamic team with a commitment to driving advancements in healthcare.
Responsibilities :
- Manage projects within supplier management, including technical qualification of new suppliers.
- Lead projects in the "Quality at the Source" program, focusing on risk management with suppliers and implementing risk mitigation procedures.
- Assess process and measurement capabilities at suppliers and internally, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with faulty components in incoming goods inspection.
- Introduce and optimize production processes, driving standardization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Production departments.
Requirements :
- Completed technical studies, preferably in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Technology, Plastics Engineering, or related fields.
- Alternatively, recent graduates with backgrounds in Production Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Plastics Engineering are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of process data acquisition (SPC), process capability evidence, Quality Management, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel for supplier visits within Germany and Western Europe.
