Role Overview :

As a Data Engineer , you will play a key role in analysing, designing, and delivering data solutions that enable the business to harness the power of data.

You will work with large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring they are stored securely and are accessible for analysis.

This role will involve creating efficient data pipelines, managing data transformation, and ensuring the highest standards of data quality, while working with a range of data and analytics frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design & Development : Build data ingestion solutions from multiple sources, ensuring they are stored in secure, organised environments and are accessible for all relevant stakeholders.
• Solution Design & Deployment : Interpret business requirements and design scalable, effective data solutions. Own the end-to-end delivery, including deployment and maintenance of data solutions.
• Software Development : Develop high-quality, reliable, and secure data solutions with well-tested code.
• Best Practices : Advocate for and contribute to the implementation of industry best practices in data engineering, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Collaboration : Work closely with customers, project teams, and other stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet business needs and expectations.

Key Experience & Skills :

• Expertise in Data Engineering : Extensive experience in data analysis, data modelling, data ingestion, ETL / ELT processes, data management, and data quality.
• Data Warehousing & Big Data : Strong background in designing and managing data warehouses and working with large, complex datasets.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in SQL , Python , and experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS .
• Framework Expertise : Knowledge of a range of data and analytics frameworks, including tools for data processing, transformation, and storage.
• Stakeholder Management : Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborative Mindset : A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys contributing to cross-functional projects.
