About the position

As an Electrical Engineer / Electronics Technician you have already gained several years of professional experience ideally in a manufacturing environment. You are able to familiarize yourself with technical challenges analyze customer needs and are motivated to develop solutions for lighting and other electronic components for the caravan / outdoor industry. This includes both the development of new products and the maintenance and optimization of existing products. You will accompany the entire product development process from the initial concept to serial production.

Your main responsibilities

• Your strong understanding of components and technical parameters is applied effectively in product development. You approach new challenges with an open mind and work closely with stakeholders and departments on national and international projects keeping their requirements in focus. As a hands-on professional you are well aware of the requirements for smooth assembly at the customers site. You also maintain an eye on the economic feasibility of your solutions as well as the technical data. This includes supporting the testing of new product solutions at the interface with testing laboratories and independent authorities for product testing and certifications.
• Excel is a standard tool for you. You handle technical data management including bills of materials datasheets initial sample inspection reports compliance requirements and other technical also record changes regarding price materials and products in the ERP system.
• You utilize prototype construction to prepare for customer presentations and serial production including procurement assembly documentation and functional testing.
• As a team player you communicate updates to the relevant departments and act as a point of contact for your team regarding required changes to products and accessories. You coordinate weekly with colleagues from engineering sales and plant management
