We are excited to welcome a new member to our Finance Central Europe team, where you will play a pivotal role in managing our renewable energy assets in Germany and Italy. Your responsibilities will include the following :

  • Assisting in the preparation of tax returns (especially VAT and corporate tax)
  • Supporting tax audits and the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Conducting research and analysis of tax issues, particularly in the energy sector
  • Assisting in the optimization and implementation of tax strategies
  • Collaborating with internal departments as well as external tax advisors and tax authorities
  • Managing and maintaining tax-related documentation and records

Requirements

  • A degree in finance, taxation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in tax-related roles within Germany.
  • Comprehensive understanding of German tax legislation and GAAP.
  • Proficient in using SAP and Excel.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
