Internship Full Stack Development for Release Automation of Automotive Embedded Middleware Software

• Job Description

You’ll contribute to cutting-edge digital solutions in a project focused on developing a web-based application for the automation, optimization, and maintenance of software release processes.
• During your internship, you will support the design and development of a full stack web application that streamlines release workflows, improves traceability, and enhances the overall efficiency of software delivery.
• You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies to implement features such as release planning, version tracking, automated deployment triggers, and status dashboards.
• Furthermore, you will collaborate with team members to integrate the application with existing CI / CD pipelines and version control systems, ensuring seamless interaction with engineering tools and infrastructure. Your contributions will help reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and improve visibility into release activities.
• In close collaboration with Product Owners, DevOps engineers, and software developers, you’ll help understand the specific needs of internal stakeholders and translate them into intuitive, reliable, and scalable web solutions.
• Finally, you will also keep an eye on current trends and best practices in full stack development, DevOps, and software lifecycle management to promote innovative approaches to release automation and maintenance.
• Qualifications
• Studies in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Networking, Business Informatics, or comparable with an embedded SW focus
• Experience in web development using Python and Node.js; familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Jira; understanding of software release processes and CI / CD workflows; knowledge of RESTful APIs and frontend frameworks is a plus; experience in DevOps or automotive software development is beneficial
• You grasp complex issues quickly and manage your time effectively; your motivation and outgoing nature make you an excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
