Your tasks

  • You work in close coop­er­a­tion with a team of experts on improv­ing our robots’ manip­u­la­tion and per­cep­tion system
  • You develop and opti­mize algo­rithms for image pro­cess­ing, (3D) cam­era-based object seg­men­ta­tion, and robot manipulation
  • You develop machine learn­ing algo­rithms for the robot per­cep­tion and manip­u­la­tion behaviors

Your pro­file

  • You fin­ished your Mas­ter or PhD in Robot­ics, Com­puter Sci­ence, Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer­ing, or com­pa­ra­ble studies
  • You have 3+ years of rel­e­vant expe­ri­ence devel­op­ing per­cep­tion and manip­u­la­tion algo­rithms and work­ing with robots
  • You have the abil­ity to write pro­duc­tion-ready code in C++ and Python
  • Your in-depth knowl­edge of the state of the art in image pro­cess­ing and com­puter vision is convincing
  • You have expe­ri­ence with inte­grat­ing and cal­i­brat­ing dif­fer­ent opti­cal sen­sors into a ROS-based system
  • Ide­ally you have … expe­ri­ence work­ing in a team that has shipped products … expe­ri­ence with machine learn­ing methods
  • You are pro­fi­cient in Eng­lish, some Ger­man knowl­edge is a plus
