Being part of Schoeller Allibert's Global Commercial team means joining a dynamic group of four Business Development Managers located in Germany and the Sales Manager located in Poland.
This team operates within a broader global sales organization. Our mission is to revolutionize packaging solutions by providing top-tier Returnable Transport Packaging to our automotive industry clients, prioritizing quality and efficiency.
You will contribute to pioneering solutions that drive our commercial strategy and streamline our operations.
YOUR JOB
As we aim further strengthen our Commercial Team in Germany, we are looking for a new Business Development Manager (f / m / x) in our Commercial sector Automotive for Central Germany that can support, among others, our Commercial department.
As the Business Development Manager (f / m / x) in our Commercial Sector Automotive , you will be responsible for growth in new markets and sell packaging solutions to our customers in this Sector.
You will be expected to build relationships with (key) accounts.
You will actively collaborate with the General & Emerging Markets team. You will also be in charge of achieving revenue targets against solution based KPIs and sales targets.
You will also work closely with our internal departments : In-house Sales, Customer Support, Product Marketing Management, Pricing, R&D and Services.
Your responsibilities will be as follows :
- Acquiring new customers and building business relationships
- Promoting growth and profitability in new markets
- Developing new business opportunities to increase margins within the market segment
- Leading by example and following Schoeller Allibert's corporate values Managing multiple dedicated customers
- Applying specific sales strategies to develop growth areas
- Following and implementing the overall Schoeller Allibert sales strategy
- Implementing Schoeller Allibert-wide contracts with global customers
- Following and implementing pricing strategy
- Supporting lean and automation initiatives with customers, including the implementation of customer portals
- Collaborating with the Services team to deliver the best price / performance proposition for specific customers
- Building and sustaining senior level relationships with (international) clients.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You will definitely have :
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience within the B2B market, project sales, field service
- Effective stakeholder management skills, sustainable network of corporate clients, preferably from logistics or packaging industries
- Familiarity with the specific and dynamics of different supply chain operations
- Experience in working with CRM Systems and good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel extensively in your area including overnight stays*
- Positive communication and presentation skills
- Good planning and project management skills
- Strong negotiation skills as well as a strong customer focus
- Growth mindset and solution oriented approach
