As a Senior Data Scientist at Blacklane, you will be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, developing and applying data science models to solve real world problems in the mobility sector. You will work closely alongside our Product & Engineering teams and build revenue-generating and cost-saving data products. As part of your role, you will interact with a wide range of business stakeholders from different countries. YOUR CHALLENGE :
- Lead the development and end to end implementation of machine learning models (e.g. demand forecasting, pricing optimization, customer lifetime value and churn prediction models)
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Serve as a trusted expert in data science and ML, providing guidance and mentorship to other team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the data team.
ABOUT YOU :
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.4+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.Proficiency in modeling business problems using machine learning techniques (incl. feature engineering, choice of model, implementation and evaluation)You have demonstrated the ability to manage and / or mentor less experienced team members by sharing your data science knowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.You continuously learn, you are a critical thinker and creative problem solver.Excellent communication and presentation skills.MORE THAN A JOB :
