What you would do as our Finance Business Partner (f / m / d) (Mechanical Core)
You will join the EMEIA Division as a Financial Controller for the Mechanical Core Segment. In this role, you will ensure that financial reporting and other finance-led projects are managed professionally, harmoniously, and promptly. You will work closely with the EMEIA CFO, leaders of the Mechanical Core Unit, Mechanical Core Program Management, Mechanical Core R&D, and the Regional Finance teams. This role will report to the SVP & Head of Mechanical Core Business Segment EMEIA. Ideally, you'll join our team in Albstadt or Berlin, Germany, but as an alternative, Stockholm, Sweden, Graz, Austria, Willenhall or Woking, UK and Krakow, Poland could also be an option.
You would also :
- Prepare the consolidated Mechanical Core Financial Report monthly / quarterly, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation, and explaining variances.
- Harmonize P&L reporting format.
- Overall responsibility for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
- Oversee R&D and Product Units budgets.
- Build processes to consolidate Mechanical Core Segment revenues, partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Provide technical advice on financial reporting, focusing on P&L and Balance Sheet according to IFRS.
- Link between Business Areas, EMEIA, and Global HQ.
- Involve in acquisition / divestment processes.
- Work on ad-hoc projects, including new product development and launches, reviewing business cases, and follow-up.
- Prepare presentations for Executive Meetings such as the Operational and Divisional Boards.
The skills and experience you need
Experiences we value :
Educated to University degree level and a qualified ACA or equivalent.Significant all-round finance experience including in-depth : budgeting, accounting, controlling, partnering and reporting skills.Understanding of IFRS and group accounting and an appreciation of how local financial reporting standards differ.Experience in a Multinational Company would be an advantage as would experience of having worked in more than one European Country.Highly Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of Hyperion Financial Management would be advantageous.The ability to work in another major European Language as well as English would be an advantageGood communication skills with the ability to influence others across the Division to ensure that deadlines are met.Internal or external audit experience, would be an advantage.Willingness and ability to travel within this roleWhat we offer :
