You can look forward to
- Refine the actuarial modelling applications used worldwide within the Hannover Re Group
- Contract modelling for our international locations that reflects reporting requirements arising out of internal actuarial processes as well as (inter)national financial reporting standards for insurance contracts
- Connecting the international locations to the central actuarial system landscape in life and health reinsurance
- Ongoing refinement and maintenance of the actuarial systems used
- Conducting user training activities in relation to the actuarial system landscape
You come equipped with
Master's degree in (industrial or business) mathematics or physicsInitial experience in the field of actuarial mathematics, software development or in life (re)insuranceExperience in a higher programming language, ideally C++SQL knowledge and experience with common software design principles an advantageWillingness to train as a certified actuary (DAV), or have it already completed or being at an advanced stageProficient user skills in English and conversational user skills in GermanConceptual abilities and capacity for analytical thinkingAssured manner in interactions with internal customersEnthusiastic team playerDon't meet all the requirements?
