POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for continuous and sustainable elimination of maintenance and engineering losses in the factory that significantly impact the performance and total cost of production. The position's main responsibility is to build capabilities and lead problem solving as a corporate support in the Technical Competency Center. This position also needs to be able to lead the improvements in all areas of the Maintenance Department without direct authority, especially with technicians and production team members, through influence, leadership, factual analysis and presentation of best practices and results from other areas. This role provides strategic and tactical direction to less senior engineers within the market.
The Reliability Manager is responsible for supporting the factories to enable and deliver asset Maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy with a goal of sustainable and long-term low cost of production and high reliability, and not the immediate correction of daily losses. The Reliability Manager is also responsible for partnering with the factories to establish a “Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss” culture in Maintenance, consistent with the principles of NCE. The position provides support and coaching within the factories in loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management (LCAM). This position also assists in Master plan & Skill development to transition to and sustain a proactive - planned maintenance program.
