We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "M&P Surface Technology Engineer" (m / f / d).

Your tasks :

  • Acquisition and execution of technology, development and qualification projects in the area of surface technologies, functional coatings and corrosion protection
  • End-to-end supervision of test campaigns (Planning, sampling, testing, reviewing, reporting)
  • Preparation of material and process specifications as well as process and test instructions
  • Support to obsolescence management and change requests
  • Support to environmental compliance (REACH regulation) programs
  • Consultancy to design, stress, quality and manufacturing for materials and process related enquiries
  • Assessment of concessions and deviation requests
  • Collaboration with external institutes
  • Steering and collaboration with material suppliers

Your profile :

  • Completed studies in the field of aerospace, material science, chemistry or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in surface and coatings technologies as well as corrosion protection
  • Experience in aerospace industry and its related processes such as qualification, certification and standardisation is preferred
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Driving licence class B / 3 is necessary for business trips (every 2 months 2 days / Germany and Europe)
