What You Will Do :

Play a crucial role in developing CO2e & cost assessment methods and tools within the cost engineering team.

  • Create methodology for electronic components.
  • Creating frameworks, models, tools, and improvement goals
  • Create calculations.
  • Building knowledge at Harman International Corp.
  • Training, mentoring other cost engineering team members.
  • Monitoring market trends related to CO2e assessments methods, databases.

What You Need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in one or more of the following areas : Sustainability / Cost Engineering of electronic systemsVA / VE of electronic systemsDesign & development of electronic systems.
  • Demonstrated minimum 5 years of experience with factors impacting design to CO2e.
  • Proven experience in sustainability engineering, environmental management, or a similar role, ideally within a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, sustainability reporting, and the use of sustainability software and tools.
  • Technical contribution on reviewing the work of other team members.
  • Ability to solve complex technical topics through structure solutions. Must be able to influence others to drive alignment on proposed technical solutions.
  • Good presentation skills and demonstrated ability to effectively present complex technical topics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global organization.
  • Fluency in English
  • What is Nice to Have :

  • Master’s degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in developing costs models for component, modules, assemblies Automotive procurement.
  • Experience with automotive electronic systems is highly desirable, including experience selecting and / or recommending automotive grade components.
  • Ability to share knowledge and best practices with teammates.
  • Change Orientation : Able to adapt to changing demands and conditions.
  • Experience in negotiation, on site visiting.
  • Experience in data analytics.
