Staff Field Application Engineer Automotive (f/m/div)

In your new role you will :

• Be the topic owner and first level technical contact for our key automotive customers in Europe
• Technical support with a focus on low and high voltage power products and sensors , within our Automotive product portfolio
• Focus on all major automotive future application trends, from autonomous driving to emission-free mobility (battery electric vehicles)
• Provide expert technical guidance and support for customer product designs and platforms
• Optimize solutions for our customer’s applications together with the entire European Technical Marketing Team, the account managers and the product experts
• Prepare and execute customer presentations and train our customers on products, implementations and applications
• Support our customers in the system design from concept to production release throughout all development project phases
• Validate the application on-site together with the customer
• Discuss innovative applications with the customer development teams and collaborate with our development departments and marketing teams

In addition, you have a clear vision of how your ideas and innovation contribute to success.

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Technology or a similar field
• About 3-5 years of relevant work experience within semiconductors power products and automotive applications
• Electronic Hardware development experience
• Experience in tools like PSpice and thermal simulations would be a plus
• Strong spirit, proactive and self-organized behavior
• Ability to manage complex situations with several stakeholders
• Excellent German and English communication skills
