AI Engineer (mfd) with focus on Machine Learning

As AI Engineer (m/f/d) you are part of our R&D projects in which you have your focus on exciting Machine Learning topics. Find sample projects in our Motius Success Stories.

Your Role

• AI Engineer (m/f/d) with focus on Machine Learning in our R&D projects with engineering teams of 2-5 people
• Researching and building real AI and Machine Learning solutions for a wide range of industries and for different use cases - from a first PoC and MVP to fully operating applications
• Defining the right tech stack and setting up the architecture for the projects by following a two-weekly Scrum process using GitLab Jira Slack Continuous Integration & Delivery etc.
• You take an active client facing role as a technical expert
• Constantly improving our Enterprise AI Business Unit and building up knowledge by introducing new tools best practices or frameworks and sharing learnings from our projects

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science Software Engineering with focus on AI or in similar disciplines and at least 3 years of track record in agile software development
• Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art Deep Learning & Machine Learning approaches & models specifically in Reinforcement Learning Graph Neural Networks and Transformers as well as strong experience in Python and with various libraries/frameworks (e.g. numpy scipy pandas sklearn Tensorflow PyTorch etc.)
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and tools landscape in the area of knowledge bases and graphs as well as of retrieval augmented generation (RAG) related technologies
• Experience in engineering and architectural practices such as code refactoring design patterns design driven development continuous integration building highly scalable applications/digital products
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage product development interest in learning new tech stacks and strong command of English language (both verbal and written) German is a plus
